Color: Pigments for Painting

The lists below are a comprehensive overview of our color materials. We offer expanded and limited palette options for colors used.  Some classes of exploration of color require an expanded range of chroma, while others will not. Once you begin working with Polins Atelier, Jason will recommend the best painting supplies for you.

Value: Materials for Drawing

Drawing materials are more straightforward by being limited to graphite, charcoal, and white chalk predominantly. The Attached list is a comprehensive list of recommended drawing materials. Depending on the assignment, you will need to use one material or another. 

Surface: Canvas & Paper

There are so many options out there in regard to paper and canvas. Once you begin working with Polins Atelier, Jason will recommend the right one for your project. He will make suggestions about which are better than others as it pertains to having the best materials for your process at hand. Of course, everyone has their own favorites in terms of paper and canvas, this could also be taken as suggestions as to where to start.
